A world champion in Hot Rods and a TV star to boot, Collard won the hot rod world championship in 1980 with a move described by the commentator as: 'He's even got time to wave! what a character! what a boy!' A real character and a driver with A style so well emulated by son Rob and grandsons Ricky and Jordan.
