The real BT26A was a light, purposeful machine from the final years of the 1.5/3.0-litre era, known for its slim profile, exposed suspension, and that distinctive high-mounted rear wing.

De Klerk#s privately entered car stood out on the Kyalami grid, carrying a bold South African colour scheme bursting with local pride.
